A good way for vegetables to retain their nutrients and color is to steam them as opposed to boiling them. Simply insert this steamer into a 3.8 quart pot (POT3202 or POT320) and the boiling water in the receiving pot provides hot steam to the steamer above. Use the recieving pot's cover on the steamer above to seal in maximum heat. The matching double boiler insert is also listed below.
