The design of the enamel allows the cookware to be taken from the oven to the table for great presentation of each meal. Made of heavyweight cast iron with a durable porcelain-enamel finish, the pan is especially useful for cooking vegetables in water, melting butter, warming milk and simmering a sauce. High quality porcelain enamel coating is impermeable to odors and stains. Heavy duty cast iron construction for great cooking and a century of use. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the cookware's original appearance. Safe on all stove tops and in the oven to 475 degrees F. Flat bottoms are enameled as the orange exterior.
